On June 22nd, 2024 my Momma (Cindy Downs) was admitted directly into the ICU in her home town in Oklahoma with a very rapid onset of ARDS causing an infection & double lung pneumonia. She was on a ventilator for 14 days & in a medical induced coma. After fighting for her life & 16 days in the ICU, she has now moved to the med surg floor on close observation. She can open her eyes now but is non-verbal & still having alot of issues. 

I am hoping to raise money to help with her bills as well as helping with our family's travel expenses to go from Iowa to Oklahoma to see her as often as possible while she struggles to come out of this horrific medical journey. She definitely has a long road to recovery!
