My mother, Cathy Youngblood had always been someone to fight for the underdog. She represented the Unite her housekeepers unions and used to travel around the country fighting for better wages and protection for the workers. Since 2017 when she was forced into retirement due to an aneurism and stroke, she has faced many health challenges. Nov 2022 she had a triple bypass heart surgery. There have been many recent trips to the emergency room , new permanent memory challenges . I am doing everything I can to make sure my mother has everything she needs. We need help to be able to continue to maintain and be able to cover bills and get medicines.
