I'm writing this message on behalf of my dear friend Joel, a devoted father and kind soul who is currently facing one of the most difficult moments of his life. Joel is in ICE detention, separated from his young daughter—a U.S. citizen—who is now staying with friends while he navigates a complex immigration process.

Joel has worked hard to take the legal steps necessary to stay in the United States and build a life here with his daughter. He has paid the vast majority of the fees required to apply for the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program—a legal pathway that grants residency through investment and contribution to the American economy. He is also keeping the door open for the potential Trump Gold Card program, if and when it becomes available. Both routes require significant legal and administrative costs.

Joel is only $3,500 away from meeting his goal. These remaining funds are urgently needed to complete his paperwork and secure his release from detention, so he can be reunited with his daughter and continue their life together—legally, safely, and permanently.
