My name is Jacob, and I’m reaching out because my household is facing the real possibility of homelessness. There are three of us trying to keep a roof over our heads, and despite working hard, we’ve reached a point where we need help.
I currently work at Goodwill and have always tried to stay employed and support myself. I’ve worked in fast food, warehouses, and retail over the years. Even now I’m still working and doing everything I can to stay on my feet. Unfortunately, the income I make right now just isn’t enough to keep up with rising living costs and housing.
This fundraiser is to help cover basic housing costs and essential bills so we can avoid losing our place to live. The funds will go directly toward rent, utilities, and keeping us stable while I continue working and searching for better opportunities.
We are not looking for luxury—just the chance to stay safe, housed, and stable while we get through this difficult moment.
