We are in the process of adopting a child from South Africa. We are excited to add to our family and loving home in Waldo. We’re hosting a Trivia Night and Raffle fundraising event to raise funds for our adoption. 

When I (Beth) lived in Kenya as a teenager, I volunteered at an orphanage.  Since that time, I have felt called to adopt a child from Africa. We were approved through an adoption agency to adopt from Burundi, which neighbors Kenya. However, that adoption agency lost its accreditation. When we were looking into new adoption agencies, we still felt called to adopt from Africa. South Africa’s adoption program through Holt International felt right. 

As we started researching the culture of South Africa, its rich diversity and beauty drew us in. Every day we learn something new about SA and our hearts grow even fonder for the Rainbow Nation.
