Hello. My name is Ericka and my boyfriend and I have pretty much been homeless since Covid hit. My family was only interested in getting money from us rather than help us get back on our feet. And after awhile they would kick us out for no reason. And it’s been happening again and again. Same story, different characters. So we’re trying to get our own place since we keep getting taken advantage of and kicked out with no where to go in the middle of winter. His family is turning their back on him now too. We‘re very much alone. We have each other but we can’t be truly happy until we have a place to call home. We’re tired of having to couch Surf and not being able to save money because our families are more interested in us helping them rather than us becoming self sufficient again. Please help us. Life is really kicking us when we’re down. One of my aunts kept our property and then started selling it after claiming that we didn’t give her any money. We need the downpayment for a portable building we want to convert into the tiny home of our dreams. all we want is to be together and not have to worry about getting kicked out.
