Hey family and friends!  

I've been pretty busy with doctors appointments and been pretty terrible with giving everyone an update on how life has been! 

2024 was a pretty steady year for us.  We made some big life changes!  At the end of the year we found out that Pax's scoliosis was non treatable (83 degree angle) and the only way to assist with pain relief or it getting any worse was to have surgery.  

On Thursday, January 16th…Paxton will be going in for a full back spinal fusion.  Her life is going to change in ways that we will not quite understand until she gets to come home…but, we are optimistic!

This surgery will last anywhere from 6-8 hours.  We will be staying in Rochester, MN.  The surgery and care is at Mayo. 

Being that all of this is right at the beginning of the year, I have to hit deductibles…and, make sure all the things she needs at home are readily available for her.  (Not sure what she'll need yet…) The recovery process for this can be up to 12+ months. 

She's also going to be missing out on school and friends.  So, anything I can do for/with her on my extremely tight single budget…I want to make happen! 

My girl has been a medical champ since birth!  I really want this to go smoothly and have her not have a money stressed mom…anything will help!
