On the night of May 25th, I was walking to get in a friends vehicle. at which time I was struck by a on coming vehicle that pinned me between both the truck I was attempting to get into and the vehicle that hit me. it pushed me up under the truck, peeling my face back and scalping me. I was rushed to CAMC general and underwent surgery. my lungs had collapsed, chest tubes were put in, then facial reconstruction surgery with two steel plates and screws put into my face. I then spent a week in the SICU before being released. I suffered 8 broken ribs, a broken collar bone, a broken shoulder blade, a broken arm, skull fractures, severe head trauma, 1 complete vertebrae disk broken , 7 interior soft vertebrae broken, the facial reconstruction surgery, collapsed lung, chest tube, breathing tube, steel plates and screws in my face and the eye damage, etc

I have many, many months of recovery to go, Dr appointments and I'm figuring a few more corrective surgeries, and I am unable to function at this point with all the pain and healing, let alone work. I wish I could, instead of dealing with this believe me. I've cried more in the last 18 days than I have in years. But, my son has taken me in to be able to take care of me a little bit and it's not feasible to maintain his home and bills, plus dealing with my needs, prescriptions, gas to and from Dr appointments and so on. So any help would be greatly appreciated. otherwise, I'm not sure how we'll get through this.
