The current situations in my life have put me on a path to creating the meaningful life I said to the universe I wanted. This time the universe said no this time you mean it and there arr no take backs. 

It did not place me back into another role where I would waste away the latter 30 years of my life for a paycheck. Instead it is forcing me to create a meaningful and purpose filled life that I always wanted. 

After my job loss in Oct 2025, I started a Non Profit called The Graft Collective. Its mission is to turn back the clocks and make us more self sustaining in our own communities surrounding food & life necessities in the cities we live in. The Graft Collective aims to create gardens in each patio to help sustain the community. Months after losing my job and spending time taking classes and setting up TGC, I put it down in anxiety over not having enough to pay bills. Well anxiety did not serve me as the universe said no, I said meaning and purpose. 

So I am setting off, with your help, create meaning and purpose. I am aiming to go to Costa Rica, April 19 through May 17, 2026. This immersion helps me learn and navigate permacilture so that I can bring it back to my community and grow literally the business of helping us care for each other.

How I need your help: the cost to participate in the immersion, the 2-way ticket to CR, plus to keep my apartment and car for 2 months without creating a credit disaster when I return, which would definitely hurt my chances of getting more backing for the growth of the project.
