Isaiah 43:2 says, “ when you pass through the waters, I will be with you and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned and the flame shall not consumer you." But it is so hard to stand on that with faith when life is falling down around your feet, everything we have worked hard for is slowly leaving our hands! It’s also very humbling to have to ask strangers for help. This is mostly about my husband, my faithful friend, constant companion through it all! In 2014 Bruce was diagnoised with a very agressive type of Prostrate Cancer, he went through all of that and was doing very well health wise, and then this year on May 6th he had a massive heart attack, through days of testing and monitors he ended up having an emergency heart catherization on July 3rd, blockage in two areas of right ventrical of 100% and another area of 75%, came out of feeling better than he has in a long time. Thinking rough days were behind us, we moved through our days working, relaxing at the lake, fishing, etc. He was off on Short term disability which hadn't clicked in money wise yet but we were hopeful. But out of no where, on the 4th of this month (August) I almost lost him to a 4-5 mm blood clot in his lung-3 days later after being in hospital, he was released. We knew he couldn't go back to the job he has held as a welder for he gets cut alot, and now being on two blood thinners, he bleeds and brusies like no other. In the meantime, we being in our late 50's and 60's are making hard choices. I myself am on disability due to RA, Fibro and MS type 2-I still work two and half days and feel blessed to work for a company that I-that we-consider an extension of our family. But its now alot but when he was working we made it work. NOW we are facing the end of the month, really in a mess, This man would give the shirt off his back to anyone, wants to work, wants to get back to taking care of me-but he can't. I am hoping that this will reach people who really care and can help us, we all live paycheck to paycheck anymore-so I know this is a lot to ask. And to top that all off, the medical bills are now rolling in along with rescue bill (man thats not cheap) but I am glad they were there! Could you find it in your heart to help us-should you not want to donate through here even though its a smaller fee than the others, please let me know I can share my venmo information. You are a blessing no matter who you are, and I trust that through helping us, you will be the ones to reap that huge reward called Blessings from above-we understand if you can't and just ask to walk along side us in
Bruce is feeling good, I can see the stress though of not being able to provide tho. All paperwork for disability/ early retirement, but still very concerned about 1 large bill. We have been blessed beyond words from dear friends and we want to say thank you!!! Your out pouring helped us through the items needing to be paid by end of month, but like Matthew we still have a journey ahead , but I know God has us, would you continue to walk besides us in prayer.? Thank you and God bless you!!!!

3mos agoYou two are on my heart and in my prayers. You both have hearts of gold and you helped me when I needed you Sherri. God will still work through you and lift you with His right hand during this. He laid it on my heart to give beyond what I was thinking. Praying also for all your trials to lift. Blessings and Love you both.
