UPDATE

Tucker has been diagnosed with stage 3 hodgkins lymphoma. His pet scan showed masses on both sides of his neck, down his sternum and in his abdomen. He will be starting three days of chemotherapy on 4/3/25 and will be hospitalized during this time to monitor how he does on the medication. My name is Caitlin Donovan and I am good friends with Christine and Carissa England. On 3/27/25, their nine year old son Tucker was taken to the doctor to get his neck checked due to it appearing swollen. From there, the doctor ordered an ultrasound and blood work which showed different masses in his lymph nodes. Christine was then instructed to take Tucker to the ER for an x ray before ultimately getting the phone call to come to Janet Weis Children's Hospital to be admitted. After a CT scan and more blood work, he was admitted to the pediatric ICU where they met with the head of oncology whom ordered a bone marrow biopsy, pet scan and a port placement. On 3/28/25 it was confirmed that Tucker has hodgkins lymphoma. This little boy has already been through enough as he is a survivor of proven child abuse by his non-custodial parent. His mother Christine just came back from work after a surgery on her spine and has used up all of her PTO. This family is so dear to my heart as Christine and Carissa are two of my best friends and to see their child go through yet ANOTHER thing absolutely breaks my heart.
