My name is Ali. I’m currently 30 years old and a Lyft driver. I was in carpentry school when I lost my job. The store I was working out was sold without the employee’s knowledg. It was a convenience store. I racked up some credit card debit a few years prior when me and my family were forced to move back to Florida from Minnesota. 6 of the 8 cellphone stores my father was managing were partially or totally destroyed during the riots. I was on a decent track to paying off all my debt but i have fallen behind and have missed 5 months of payments because I simply can’t afford it. I was forced to move back with my parents and I’m currently trying to help them pay their bills as well. My mother is a caf worker at a private school and my father now works at a gas station.
