I purchased some land for my family about 2 years ago to leave for my kids. Unfortunately, just months after I signed the papers, I fell ill and lost my job. I've been using my savings to keep us a float the last 2 years, but my health issues are still raging, keeping me from returning to work. I've also been denied for social security disability, so no money coming in at the moment, and my savings are almost gone.

I saved for 5 years to get the down payment and now I'm about to lose everything I worked so hard for. I don't really know where we'll go if we get put off the property.

I'm reaching out to ask for some help to save our land. I owe a little over $85,000 to outright own the land, but anything will help. The plan was to start a garden, but I haven't been able to do anything with it as my illness is muscle related and I don't have the strength to do what I used to. The seller has been very generous and lenient knowing my situation, but I am at the bottom of the barrel with my savings and I don't want my efforts to be all in vain.
