About this fundraiser

For the first time in my life, I’m in a position where I truly need help.

I’ve always been someone who works hard, shows up, and takes care of others. As a single mom, my son has always been—and will always be—my top priority. No matter what, he will never go without. He has what he needs, including health insurance, and I make sure he is taken care of first in every situation.

Right now, I’m facing a difficult season. I’m currently without a job, without health insurance for myself, and managing autoimmune conditions that cause chronic pain and extreme fatigue. It’s been overwhelming trying to stay afloat while also focusing on my health.

I’m not asking for anything beyond the basics—just help covering essential living expenses while I work to get back on my feet. My monthly bills total about $2,500 and include rent, electric, phone bills, gas, school tuition, groceries, internet, and pet food.

I’m actively working toward a better future. My plan is to enroll in a phlebotomy course so I can quickly get back into the workforce, while continuing to pursue nursing school. This will allow me to support myself and my son while building a long-term career helping others. Part of these funds will also help cover the cost of that course so I can get started as soon as possible.

My goal is to raise $5,000, which would help cover about two months of basic expenses and give me the stability I need to focus on my health, complete my training, and secure employment.

Asking for help isn’t easy for me. I’ve always been the one to give, to show up, and to help others however I could. But I’m learning that sometimes strength also means allowing others to help you.

If you’re able to donate, share, or even just send encouragement, it truly means more than I can put into words. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for being part of my journey forward.
