For you all to know my son, you would find the guy with a huge heart, a huge love for his friends and family and Jesus christ . a guy devoted to his work, A guy that people could count on when they needed help. My son really never needed to ask for help. He was always the one who was helping. my son was healthy, strong as an ox. Don’t let his size fool you he was at the gym 2-3 days a week and would participate in a few 5K’s  for Charity a year. Then on September 19 of 2019 he woke up at 4:45 AM for work and the whole left side of his body was numb asleep. He just thought it was the way he slept. He took a shower got dressed went out to his work van and thought to himself something is wrong because it’s not waking up. He went in the house and called and  told me Dad don’t freak out I need you to get me and take me to the emergency room. When I got to the hospital he was able to walk in  to the hospital with just the left side being numb and tingly. They got him in and started running some test and they done an MRI and a few other things. They said he had a stroke in his sleep. They’re not sure what caused it. They Could not find anything on the MRI CAT scan they said he  had no brain bleeds there’s no brain aneurysms they could not find anything that caused it. While he was admitted to the hospital they ran a few more tests they done an ultrasound on the arteries in hisneck they said those were fine they said his cholesterol was fine my bad cholesterol was low. he was wearing a heart monitor and sensors to check to see if he was having heart palpitations. Finally they were done with the test for the day. The next morning around 11 AM I was having another stroke when it was just his mom in the room. She hit the emergency button and they done a rapid response on him because he was having another stroke. They immediately took him in with a MRI dye test done a few other test they cannot find what caused the second stroke. After he had The second stroke he lost the ability to move his left arm he lost his ability to stand up or walk and Lost the left side vision in both of his eyes. Still they found no reason why or what caused the strokes. My son is a fighter like I am. He is very stubborn and won’t quit trying to get better.he spent 8 weeks in the hos and Hospital rehabilitation.  Life just keeps beating and stomping him in the ground. he just keeps loosing and not winning.  he has lost all his freedom. Can’t drive must depend on someone to get him to any doctors appointments,Rehab OP or anything else.he was someone who never depend on others. He’s in pain 24 hours a day with pin and needles feeling from his eyeball  to his foot on the left side. then if if everything so far wasn’t bad enough he got let go from his job of 14 years ,he lost his girlfriend of 5 years and is drowning in debt from medical qqqqcredit card bills From not being able to work. It’s horrible to see someone going through this let alone your child and you can’t help them.we did not want to ask for help But he really needs help. I know it’s a big ask especially the way our economy is right now. Now he needs it more than ever.
