If they fail to do so, they will be locked out of their home, and all their belongings will be considered abandoned and become property of the landlord. Unfortunately, her landlord is solely focused on business and lacks empathy for their situation. The only option left for this family could be a shelter, which carries its own risks, particularly the loss of all their possessions.

This family does not deserve to face this crisis alone. The mother recently escaped a domestic violence situation and has a restraining order against the father to ensure their safety. Despite these challenges, her children have found happiness and stability in their current schools, and she is determined to maintain this secure environment for them.

Due to the circumstances of their escape, the mother was unable to work for a period of time. However, she has now secured a full-time job and is working diligently to rebuild their lives. Unfortunately, they are currently facing eviction due to unpaid back rent totaling $5,000, a situation that threatens to uproot her children once again, with no alternative housing options available to them.
