This emergency fund is for myself and my mom, Catherine (71), we rely solely on social security, state assistance, Medicare and Medicaid for medical. My mom and I have significant health needs and disabilities.
• This year, the cost of Medicare has doubled for my mom, cutting into our budget and making our ability to afford our utilities more difficult. With the near constant threats of interruption of SNAP, TANF and Social Security benefits, from our government, I am asking for support. Your donations will go to rent and utilities. It will prevent my mom and I from becoming homeless and provide us with some stability during this national crisis.
