My name is Rita Rhome I am on a fixed income and I have been priced out of getting an apartment and now I am homeless but I received an income but not enough for even a one bedroom so I am asking for help to get me a class B Winnabago because I don't even have a vehicle I would be so grateful for your help to keep me from living in the streets and I want to leave Florida and see some World. I have been helping people all of my life never missed a payment but now I am homeless I just made 70 years old my eyes are good my health is ok but I know God didn't let me live this long and all of the adults diapers I have changed and all of the neighbors I have cared for to allow me to be homeless . So many Seniors are being priced out We are the backbone of America but we are the ones that's get left behind. Florida new laws will arrest homeless people and I can't see myself on the streets begging for change I have a storage full of beautiful furniture that I am going to get rid of for Van life with my family and ESA animal. I need help ASAP right now I am with my niece but she is a newly wed with not enough room for me and my puppy has to be locked up all day because she don't want him running around in her apartment. I would be so grateful to everyone that can help me from living in the streets I believe in compassion and I believe in humanity no women,children or veterans should be living on the streets and no seniors should be homeless No one knows when hard times are going to fall on them I know I didn't expect a Property manager would make me homeless and try to rob me by trying to charge me late fees on the first of the month while I'm paying auto pay on the third when I receive my check. I was done wrong and so was two of my neighbors and I have been to every organization that's supposed to help Seniors with housing even section 8 which I have been on there list for 3 years but everyone has 3 years waiting list. An RV travel Van would house me and I would have transportation at the same time. I'm a human being that have cared for my father,mother,mother in law, son and several neighbors all had chronic illnesses now I need help to survive in this changing world please help me to keep me of the streets I need a hand up not a hand out. I could live comfortably in a Travel Van and I could find friends because I am really alone because I have nothing on common with my family members they are all young people living there lives. I really want to see some of this World before I can't do anything .Thank you all that's helping people like me it's a blessing to bless those that's less fortunate.
