My name is Stephen, and on February 6, 2025 I was diagnosed with stage two colon cancer. So many things went through my mind in that moment of hearing the doctor tell me my diagnosis but the main thing I couldn’t stop thinking about was  my son Sean. I couldn’t stop thinking about how how am I going to be able to see my son grow up to be the man that I am raising him to be. I am a single father of one and everything I do, I do it for my child. With the fact that I am working two jobs to make ends meet to keep a roof over our head and having the state of New Jersey Medicaid, give me the runaround and telling me how  I have to wait of the three months or six months to have active insurance. It’s very hard for me to delay the process of getting the proper treatment so the cancer does not spread any further. So I am  humbly asking for assistance. Any amount will work I know that this is going to be a battle for me and my family and I pray that whoever this reaches out to will be kind to please just donate something so I can start my treatments. I am forever grateful for who decides to assist me in this matter.
