Title: Urgent — Help Brooks, 38, Fight Severe Brain Illness & Keep His Family Home

My name is Brooks. I’m 38. I have a loving wife and two beautiful sons who depend on me. Recently I was rushed to the emergency room with unbearable pain that keeps getting worse. Tests showed ischemic small vessel disease in the frontal cortex of my brain — doctors have warned it could be a tumor and told me to watch it. I was also told my life expectancy may be 5–10 years.

Because of this illness I can no longer work. Simple things like standing make me dizzy; the pain behind my eyes is so intense I must close them to get any relief. I’ve tried reaching out to organizations and churches, but I’ve had no luck. Right now we are on the brink of losing our home.

We urgently need help to cover:
- Rent and emergency housing to keep our family together
- Immediate medical bills and specialist appointments
- Prescriptions and pain management
- Utilities, food, and basic living costs while I’m unable to work

Any amount you can give will make an enormous difference. If you can’t donate, please share this page with your network — every share helps. Your support will help keep my sons in their home, pay for critical care, and give our family time and hope during a terrifying and uncertain fight.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading, for any help, and for sharing our story.

— Brooks
