Meet Isaiah 🩵

A brave little heart warrior ❤️

His journey began early with his first open-heart surgery at just 9 days old. At 6 months old, he underwent his second open-heart surgery and endured many complications. As a result of these complications, Isaiah suffered a severe brain injury and was later diagnosed with severe hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE). Since then, Isaiah has battled difficult-to-control seizures that have not responded well to medication. He has spent countless days in the hospital and continues to work hard in physical therapy, occupational therapy, and other treatments to help him reach his fullest potential.

Doctors recently discovered that Isaiah’s left mainstem bronchus is severely compressed by surrounding blood vessels, causing a significant airway obstruction. We are now seeking opinions from specialized hospitals to determine what treatment options may be available.

Despite every obstacle, Isaiah continues to amaze us with his strength. He inspires us every day to keep fighting and to keep hoping.
