My nephew recently underwent major heart surgery to correct a rare and serious congenital condition. He was born with hypoplastic aortic arch and a critical defect called Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA)—a condition where the main arteries of the heart are reversed. The incredible surgical team was able to perform a complex repair to re-route the arteries and reconstruct the aorta to ensure his heart pumps blood properly.
While the surgery was a success, this is only the beginning of a long road to recovery. There are likely more procedures and hospital stays ahead. My brother and his girlfriend are doing everything they can, traveling back and forth from the hospital, staying close to their son during every step of this journey. These trips, time off work, meals, and stays near the hospital are starting to add up quickly.
We’re reaching out to our community for support. Anything you can give—no matter how small—goes directly to helping this young family stay strong and focused on what matters most: helping their little boy heal.
Please share, donate, and keep our family in your thoughts and prayers. Every bit of love and support helps more than you know. ❤️
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
