As many of you know, Trish has been diagnosed with LMD, a rare complication of metastatic cancer where it spreads to the lining of the brain and spine, as well as the spinal fluid. While there is no cure for LMD, MD Anderson has a treatment to specifically slow the progression of LMD, giving Trish more time.  MDA would like to treat her LMD using craniospinal irradiation (CSI).  This type of radiation treats the entire brain and the spinal cord.  This is an intensive type of radiation which will cause many side effects, including nausea, gi issues, headaches, hair loss, fatigue, cognitive deficits and low blood counts.  However, this is the best option available to prolong trish's life.  In addition to this grueling treatment, it's going to be very costly given that she'll fly to houston for mapping and then fly back to houston for 2  weeks while undergoing treatment.  While Trish and Justin aren't asking for donations, many people have reached out asking how they can help.  I've set up this page for those who are looking to help out and reduce the financial burden this next leg of treatment will create.  We truly appreciate your continuous support.
