It’s been a rough year. We are uninsured and in October I was taken to the ER because I woke up with the entire right side of my face numb and unable to move. I was diagnosed with having had two TIAs and while in the hospital had two more. I applied for financial assistance to help with the hospital costs but that doesn’t cover the doctors Or all the MRIs and imaging.  I’ve been making what payments I can monthly but they are about to send me to collections. I’m unable to apply for disability because I no longer have the required number of credits needed so am ineligible. The stress of possibly having a bill in collections is keeping me awake at night and I just don’t know where else to turn.
