Dear friends, family, and community,

As many of you know, Jennifer Lovely is courageously facing a battle with a genetic breast cancer.  In the coming weeks, she will undergo a double mastectomy (the first surgery is on Jan. 28th), a critical step in her journey toward healing. This is a time when Jennifer will need all the love, support, and care we can provide.

This is not something anyone can prepare for, and it’s a challenge Jennifer cannot flee or hide from. However, what she can lean on is the strength of her community—the same community she has poured her heart and soul into through her work in mental health and movement. Jennifer has always been an advocate for slowing down, fostering self-connection, and creating meaningful relationships. Now, she needs to take her own advice and focus on healing herself.

Jennifer is preparing for her surgery and the unknowns that come with it—medical expenses, recovery supplies, and taking time away from work to focus on her health. Here’s how you can help:

Jennifer’s family is seeking to raise $15,000 to cover medical bills, prescriptions, ferry rides, and daily living expenses during her recovery. This will help ease the burden of being unable to work while she heals.

Jennifer will need a recliner to accommodate her recovery, as she won’t be able to lift her arms for some time.
