Chris Matthews has suffered a life changing stroke, on June 21. Currently in ICU in Overland Park Kansas. He was home working when he suffered stroke. Chris  was transported to hospital in time for adequate treatment. He will have a hard recovery ahead especially for speech and walking. Chris has no short term or long term disability with his employer. When discharging from the hospital Chris will require time at an intense rehabilitation facility, for physical therapy, speech and occupational therapy,  before returning safely home for physical. Being a large financial contributor to his family, with additional financial cost for medical treatment and rehab, this fund is being put together to help. It would be greatly appreciated to Chris and Ashley who have three children at home, one in college, and oldest daughter is due with their second grandaughter. Chris loves is family and would do anything for them. Please help them until he’s back at his everyday life again! We love you all, thank you!
