The past few months have tested my faith, resilience, and spirit in ways I never imagined. After dealing with months of uncertainty in 2024 due to a fire at my apartment complex and being displaced, I was able to secure another apartment and begin rebuilding my life.

Just as I was starting to regain stability, I faced another devastating blow. In late 2025, I lost my job—one I had dedicated over five years of my life to. A job I loved. A job that gave me purpose and security. Losing it broke me in ways that are hard to put into words.

Since then, I have actively searched for work, applying daily and doing everything in my power to move forward. Despite my efforts, I have not yet secured new employment. My savings—every dollar I had—has gone toward rent and basic bills. I have reached out to every local resource available for rent and utility assistance, but unfortunately, their resources have been exhausted.

I know I am not alone in struggling. I understand that many people are facing financial hardship right now due to the rising cost of living and basic necessities. Asking for help does not come easily to me.

To be transparent, I have also reached out to family and friends. Sadly, no one is in a position to help financially at this time. I am truly out of options. My back is against the wall.

I am a hardworking person, and being in this position is embarrassing and heartbreaking. This is my final attempt to prevent eviction and homelessness. I am urgently seeking help to cover March rent and past-due utilities.

The immediate amount needed by February 25th to cover March rent & past-due utilities is $2,000. My total goal needed for rent, past-due + current utilities and food is $3500.
