My beautiful friend and Sister Whitney Coleman has been diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, and is now in the fight of her life. She has already been through several courses of treatment that have been less than effective and is now beginning experimental drug therapy. Her medical costs are exorbitant and only going to continue to rise. Whitney is currently being cared for by her amazing Mother.

I'm trying to start this fundraiser to offer some respite from the constant stress of how Whitney's medical  expenses are.going to be covered, especially since experimental treatments are routinely not covered by insurance.  All proceeds will go towards Whitney's medical expenses and palliative care, until we manage to find a cure for this terrible disease. 

For anyone that has never had the pleasure of meeting her, Whitney is a life loving , God fearing woman  who has overcome so  many obstacles and has thrived in doing so. She is a peer support counselor who offers support to addicts in their attempts to heal from their addictions, and in my life, she is a light when times are dark. She is a necessary part of my life and well being and a walking representation of God's love and light.
