I got fired while pregnant because of things i was told to do so by the other MA's that were there for years. i discharged a pt because the patients chart was signed and their after visit summary was printed i asked in the chat to the provider if the pt was good to go, no answer. so i turned to the other MA asked her what i should do and she said discharge them, so i did and it back fired because the provider didnt go in to see patient yet and she needed to discuss the medications she prescribed them. i fixed the mistake right away by calling them before they could even pick up there meds but it was too late it was used against me. Also when i tried to let the lead Nurse know that the medical assistant that was supposed to break me did not go on the other side to help with patients at all and a patient had to wait 15 minutes just to be discharged when i got back from break. again that was used against me as lack of communication even tho i wrote in that chat i was going because the girl said to go?  this place moto is patients first, Always. more like employees first patients last. ive seen first hand patients waiting over 30 minutes because the providers and MA's are gossiping and i dont think that is a patient first setting if u ask me. I need help with bills to cover as i dont have a job anymore and im due to have this baby in 2 months. anything helps really and i appreciate all the help I can get and God Bless you all that help a mother in need
