About this fundraiser

The Pritchett's world was turned upside down in March of 2020 when father and husband Candler Pritchett suddenly and unexpectedly passed away from a simple cold, later discovered to be COVID-19. Kim was then forced to provide for her remaining children at home (Logan and Laci) alone in an uncertain economy. However, they stood fast in the Lord, trusted Him to provide, and continued to spread the good news and joy of the gospel.

In 2022, tragedy struck again when Kim was diagnosed with cancer and forced to undergo aggressive surgeries and chemotherapy, which rendered her unable to work or care for herself or kids financially. It was with the kindness of her church and community that their needs over the past year were provided for, for which the family is extremely grateful. They have truly felt God's hand and blessing throughout the journey.

Unfortunately, despite promising results post chemo, the doctors now say that Kim's cancer is terminal.  Hospice is set to begin her care July 29 in order to ensure the best quality of life for her during this time.

The entire family is touched by the generosity they have been shown from the beginning. They have been blown away by the response to Kim's recent post. The outpouring of comments, texts, company, and prayers have brought her so much joy!

As a mom, though, Kim is understandably worried about her kids she is leaving behind, specifically the two still at home: Logan and Laci, especially since their father passedbin 2020. Out of our love for Kim (and it is clear how deeply she is loved!) This fund is created to help provide financially for Logan and Laci if or when Kim makes her transition with Jesus (leaving room for a miracle!)  Knowing they are cared for will take a huge burden off of them, and is the greatest blessing you could give her.

So many people have given already and been so generous. Please do not feel required to give, but if you feel so led any amount would be sincerely appreciated.

In addition, if you would be willing to leave a memory, kind word, or prayer on Kim's Facebook wall or with your gift, I know it would bless them.

As always, Kim would want you to know that our Heavenly Father LOVES you more than you can imagine. He died so that one day, when its your time, you too can transition into eternity with Him.  💛
