Our son Wyatt Hester, born Dec 2021, drowned on 4/8/23 in a small koi pond after crawling out the dog door while we were at a family Easter party.

God is faithful. He allows trials and tribulations for our benefit, and Wyatt's testimony of healing and our testimony of faith has drawn us near to God like never before. God has discerned to Kevin (dad) that Wyatt will be healed in a matter of years. We trust God; His will for Wyatt; His will for our family. 

"It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man." - Psalm 118:8

The doctors released us from the hospital on day 45, against their recommendations, so we could seek treatment elsewhere. Hospitals have no treatments for anoxic brain injury, just rehabilitation.

God first led us, clearly and quickly, to Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatments with Dr. Harch in New Orleans, Louisiana. Wyatt has done 20 treatments so far and has improved DRAMATICALLY, almost out of a coma.  

We plan to continue on this course, purchasing an Oxygen Chamber for our home, as he will need years of these treatments. We are also pursuing an intense program in Austin, Texas and a magnetic machine program in Mexico. God will lead our steps.

Unfortunately these costs are all out-of-pocket and not approved by insurance. We have spoken to many families that have been in similar situations and it seems the cost is about $60,000 per year for a few years. 

We have accepted $42,681 in donations thus far and have spent over $50,000, none of which has been recouped by insurance or other means.
