Hello,

My name is Audrey Miller, and I am the mother of an 18-month-old little girl named Arizona.

In May of last year, my life changed in ways I never could have imagined. After what should have been the joyful birth of my daughter, I experienced severe complications following my third C-section. I developed a life-threatening infection, was airlifted to a larger hospital, and underwent two additional major surgeries. While Arizona was healthy enough to be discharged, I remained hospitalized, fighting for my own life.

During that difficult time, my best friend, along with several others, stepped in to help care for Arizona while I recovered. I was incredibly grateful for the support.

As the months passed, however, things took an unexpected turn. My friend repeatedly joked about buying, trading for, or adopting my daughter. At first, I brushed the comments off as harmless jokes. But the comments continued, becoming more frequent and more serious. Eventually, she asked me to sign over my parental rights to Arizona. I immediately and firmly refused.

After that conversation, I ended our friendship.

About a week later, I was devastated to learn that she had hired an attorney and obtained a Temporary Emergency Custody order through the court. Since then, I have been fighting to bring my daughter home.

This legal battle has been emotionally exhausting and financially overwhelming. I have already spent more than $5,000 on legal representation. After months of working on my case, my attorneys withdrew, leaving me without representation unless I can pay an additional $6,000 in legal fees.

I have complied with every request made by the court and have done everything asked of me in hopes of reuniting with my daughter. Despite my efforts, the fight continues, and I simply cannot keep up with the mounting legal costs.

I never imagined I would be in this position, asking for help just to continue fighting for my child. Any support, whether through donations, prayers, or simply sharing my story, would mean more than words can express.
