For years, Connie dedicated her life to serving others as a volunteer EMS provider and EMT instructor. Helping people in their most vulnerable moments has always been her calling. We never imagined Connie would be the one needing that same compassion and support.

In early August, while helping a friend get to surgery, she suffered a significant injury that changed everything. What followed has been an overwhelming journey: emergency surgery, time in nursing home care, rehabilitation, and setbacks that keep testing her strength and resilience. Each recovery milestone has brought new challenges.  Connie decided recently that she wanted to end this journey and spend the balance of her time with family, friends and her dog Lucy in her home.

The medical bills have mounted, she has not been able to work since the injury and daily living expenses have exhausted her current funds adding a financial stress. Your generosity will help cover the costs of her current expenses to allow her to stay in her home as she enters hospice care
