I’m creating this fundraiser for my boyfriend, Jaxon, who is hoping to receive gender-affirming top surgery , something that means so much to him and would greatly improve his comfort, confidence, and quality of life.

Recently, Jaxon was diagnosed with a hereditary genetic condition that has brought a lot of uncertainty and emotional stress into his life. While we are still navigating what this diagnosis means for his future, it has made one thing very clear: he wants to move forward with this surgery while he is still healthy and able to do so.

Top surgery is not just a cosmetic procedure for Jaxon. It’s an important step toward feeling at home in his body and living more fully as himself. After receiving this diagnosis, being able to take control of something meaningful and affirming has become even more important.
