Help Me Restore My Health and Smile

My name is Herman M. Payne, and I am a performing arts educator from Miami, Florida. Before dedicating my career to teaching and mentoring young artists, I had the honor of performing on Broadway. Throughout my life, I have believed in giving back through the arts, education, and service to my community.

Today, I find myself in a position where I must ask for help.

Over the past year, my family has faced tremendous challenges. My mother survived a brain aneurysm and then suffered a stroke in November 2025. Supporting her through these life-changing medical emergencies became my highest priority. Like many caregivers, I devoted my financial resources to helping my family, often putting my own health and medical needs aside.

Unfortunately, postponing my own care has led to a serious dental crisis.

I urgently need dental implant treatment to restore my oral health and prevent further complications. Beyond the pain and daily challenges of missing teeth, I am deeply concerned about the long-term effects that poor dental health can have on my overall well-being, including my heart, brain, and bone health. Addressing these issues now is essential to protecting my health and maintaining the quality of life I need to continue teaching, working, and caring for others.

The funds raised will be used for:

• Dental examinations and diagnostic imaging.
• Tooth extractions, when necessary.
• Dental implant surgery and related procedures.
• Restorative dental work, including crowns and follow-up care.
• Medications and any additional treatment required throughout the process.

I need these funds as soon as possible so I can begin treatment before my dental condition worsens and requires even more extensive care.
