My name. Is Kevin and I am a 60 year old Special Education teacher, father, grand father,  and basketball coach.  I was hit with a devastating ailment in early April called Charcots foot.  The doctors had me decide between amputation if my foot or surgeries and months of rehabilitation. So far ì have one of three surgeries down and have been in rehab and bed ridden for a month with at least 30 days ahead before I can go home. I have exhausted all of my savings and school benefits. I will not have any income until at k east September.  I have $117,000  in hospital bills and need to try and keep my home plus purchase some aides that I will need to be mobile when the doctors clear me to be mobile. My goal is to be able to play catch with my grandson and take walks with my dog.  Any help is so appreciated.
