Hi everyone, 
We are starting this fundraiser for a truly incredible woman, Lorie Gilbert. Lorie is a loved mother to two grown young men, a deeply cherished grandmother to six beautiful grandchildren, and a wonderful friend to so many. Anyone who knows Lorie knows her strength, her kindness, and her absolute devotion to her family.

Recently, our world was turned upside down when Lorie was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. She is facing this challenge head-on, but the road ahead is going to be tough. She still faces many unknowns as she awaits more specialist visits and her staging MRI. 

The Battle Ahead

To undergo the intense treatments required to fight this aggressive cancer, Lorie has to take a leave of absence from work. While she qualifies for disability, it only covers a partial amount of her normal income.

As we all know, life doesn't pause for a medical emergency. While her income is taking a major hit, the medical bills are already starting to arrive. Between specialized treatments, prescriptions, travel for care, and daily living expenses, the financial strain will add up rapidly.

Our main goal is to take the financial weight off Lorie’s shoulders so she can focus 100% of her energy on resting, fighting, and healing. No one should have to choose between paying for life-saving treatment or covering their basic bills.
