Living with MS has changed my life in ways I never imagined. There are things I used to be able to do without thinking that have now become difficult, and I miss the person I was before this disease took so much from me.
While there is currently no cure for MS, stem cell treatment has given many people hope and, in some cases, remarkable results. I want the opportunity to pursue this treatment and see if it can help me regain some of what MS has taken away.
The biggest obstacle standing in my way is the cost.
That is why I am reaching out to all of you and creating this Fundraiser, as well as a GoFundMe.
I’m not asking for help just so I can get back to the "old me." I’m asking because I want to be the best husband I can be for my wife and the best father I can be for my daughter. I want to make memories with them, be present for the moments that matter, and have the chance to live my life with fewer limitations.
I know that everyone has their own struggles and responsibilities. Whether you can donate $2, $20, $200, or $2,000, every single dollar makes a difference and is appreciated more than you will ever know.
And if you aren't able to donate, please don't feel bad. Sharing this fundraiser, saying a prayer, sending some positive thoughts, or simply helping spread the word can make a tremendous difference.
I know this road won't be easy. But I believe in staying positive, believing in hope, and never giving up.
