Hi everyone! My name is Rashad and just as I was getting into the swing of life, I went to the hospital for what I believed was a checkup and nothing too serious. Next thing I hear is that I have Stage IV appendiceal adenocarcinoma (appendix cancer) with peritoneal metastases (spread to the lining of the abdomen). I really could benefit from any help that is provided because I can't work like I use to and the build that's are coming and have already came, have wired me out. I hope to be cancer free with the help of you all and the Lord. The money will go towards all of these astronomical bills, treatments, travel if MD Anderson accepts me and if they don't, I'll still need help with gas and trying to keep up with my car note and just the necessary bills so I can continue getting to and from my oncologist in Austin. I live out of town so it's always a tough time on chemo days. I truly wish I didn't have to ask for help but I am not Superman and I really do need any help that I can get. Hopefully with your help, I'll best this nasty disease and be able to tell my story and help others in these kind of horrible situations.
