Imagine being old enough to know what you want for your life—but being afraid to say it because you’re scared of what will happen if you do.

That is why we are asking for help.

This fundraiser is for two boys who deserve to have their voices heard when it comes to their own lives, their well-being, and their future.

For years, they have struggled to feel heard. They have experienced pressure to make decisions based on what their dad wants rather than what they want, and they have faced consequences for simply communicating with their mom and trying to express themselves.

Now, as they reach the age where their wishes can be heard in the State of Texas, the situation has become even more difficult.

Their mom is fighting to obtain the legal representation necessary to protect their ability to speak openly and advocate for what they believe is best for themselves—without fear of punishment, manipulation, or retaliation.

There are concerns surrounding their current living circumstances, medical needs, communication with their mom, and other issues that have made legal intervention necessary.

These are not just custody issues.
These are two boys asking to have a voice in their own lives.

Their names will remain private because this is a legal matter and because they should not have to publicly carry the burden of an adult legal battle.

Their mom has already taken on multiple jobs and made significant sacrifices to prepare for this fight. She knows the financial reality of going to court, but she also knows something more important:

She cannot sit back and watch her boys continue to feel silenced.

She is willing to fight—even if it means sacrificing everything she has—but she cannot do it alone.
