My name is Jeremiah Hales, I am 48 and an auto mechanic. My fiancé is Brandy Martin, she is 38. Brandy works as a home health provider taking care of elderly even when it isn't her job. she's a youth sports coach, loves both children and elderly, has a big enough heart for the world even on our worst days she can make everybody smile and laugh. changes the energy in room but just walking in it she's one of those people you just want to be around, the world wouldn't be the same without her.

On Friday, September 18th at 3:30 PM, we were on a friend's Harley heading from Gary, Texas to work at the fair in Longview , we were on County Road 124. In a curve, our back tire hit something in the road and it wiped us out.

I have road rash and bruises everywhere and cannot work. Brandy took the worst of it.

When we went down, Brandy's face hit the pavement. She rolled multiple times and slid across the road. She suffered an open dislocation of her right elbow, road rash over 50% of her body, deep lacerations on her face and toes that needed stitching, fractured facial bones, sprained wrists, one dislocated wrist, and a badly injured knee. Only her left leg made it out okay.

Thankfully people stopped to help us, then the fire department and ambulance came. They had to Life Flight Brandy to the hospital. We would really like to find everybody from that day and thank them for everything they did because what they did meant life and death and we are so thankful that they stopped for us. Hopefully we didn't cause too much trauma for them but I'm going to let them know that we made it because of all their effort. From pedestrians to EMTs volunteer firefighters Life flight medics doctors all of them it was definitely a team effort there keeping her respondent before ambulance arrived. She is still in the hospital and will be here for more days until they clear her for internal injuries and she is stable enough for rehab. Her road to recovery will be very long.

Who will benefit: Funds will go directly to Brandy Martin and our family. I, Jeremiah Hales, am organizing this for her.

What the funds will be used for:
1. Life Flight / air ambulance bill ($25k-$50k)
2. ER, trauma surgery, and hospital bills for both of us
3. Follow-up surgeries, rehab, medications, and medical equipment for Brandy
4. Rent, utilities, food, and gas to get to appointments while we are both out of work
5. Our friend's Harley that is in impound and getting our own vehicle running again
We have kids ages 16-25, one still living at home. Right now both of us are without jobs because as a mechanic and a caregiver, we can't work with these injuries.

How soon we need the funds: Immediately. The Life Flight bill is already coming and Brandy is still hospitalized. We have no income right now.

What your support means: It means we can focus on Brandy healing instead of losing everything while she is in the hospital. We are so grateful she is still alive - it could have been so much worse, but by the grace of God it wasn't. We will always and have always helped others, and now we are humbly asking for your help.
