My sister in law, Christina, has battled her health her entire life. She has fought and defeated cancer before. She has spent more days in the hospital than I can count… then she is discharged and trying to help people, bruised from ivs, hurting and sick… but trying to help. 

This time SHE NEEDS THE HELP. The Hope. She was diagnosed with aggressive cancer that is bordering her brain tissue, all in her sinus cavities and her spinal tract. On Wednesday she will have surgery to attempt to remove huge the cancerous tumor that is resting on her brain. They will try to go through her nose, but most likely will have to open her skull to get to it. She will then face 3-4 more weeks in the hospital and then 5-8 weeks of radiation 5 days a week. 

Christina is only 39 years old, she's a momma, a wife, an aunt, a niece, a sister, a daughter… she is incredibly loved and needed by so many.

All of this is happening at the very beginning of her last baby's senior year of school and at the start of the new job she was supposed to start in August. She was so excited for her new position and is still trying to get out so she can go to work.  The doctors have told her that is not an option in her condition and immuno compromise there  after will keep her from so much. 

My brother is her primary care provider and their families primary source if income. He is also still trying to be a dad to their autistic oldest son that is incredibly confused about what is happening with his mother, his biggest safety.. to their daughter that is only 19 tender years and lost in all of this and their baby, their 17 year old senior.

My brother is a school resource police k9 officer and will have to start the year on FMLA to be providing for her and helping get her back and forth to San Antonio for treatment. We are cooking daily for them here at home, getting the essentials that they need here at home and taking care of their kiddos, but we can't afford to float two households utilities and major needs.

Any help, helps. They are facing an unimaginable uphill fight for her survival. She is currently in the ICU after crashing multiple times and needing a rapid response team to stabilize her. My brother is only leaving her side for sleep and then he goes right back. 

I know they're all terrified and I dont know how else to help them than to attempt to make their financial burden less and bring them even a tiny bit of peace through this storm.
