Help a 21-Year Army Veteran Fight Stage 4 Lung Cancer

My mom has spent her life serving others. She proudly served our country for 21 years in the United States Army, dedicating herself to protecting and caring for others. Now, she is facing the toughest battle of her life.

In May, my mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer that has spread to her skull and bones. What started as a devastating diagnosis of stage 2 lyng cancer that was treatable quickly became even more overwhelming as doctors discovered metastatic lesions affecting her skull, causing pain, anxiety, and uncertainty about what the future holds.

Despite everything she is facing, she continues to show incredible strength and courage. She attends appointments, undergoes treatment, and fights every day with the same determination she showed throughout her military career. But cancer has brought emotional, physical, and financial burdens that no family is ever fully prepared for.

The costs of treatment, travel to specialists, medications, household expenses, and day-to-day necessities continue to grow. As her family, we want to focus on supporting her through treatment and helping her maintain the best quality of life possible without the constant stress of financial hardship.

If you know my mom, you know she would never ask for help herself. She has always been the one helping others. Today, we are asking on her behalf.

Any donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward: • Medical expenses and treatments • Travel to appointments and specialists • Prescription medications • Household bills and daily living expenses • Providing comfort and support during her cancer journey

If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family, and community. Every share helps us reach someone who may be able to help.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, prayers, support, and generosity during this difficult time.

With gratitude,
Kym and the rest of the family.
