À propos de cette collecte de fonds

As some of you may be aware, Lilly has faced an incredibly difficult journey since having her wisdom teeth removed in October 2025.

Following the procedure, she developed cellulitis in her cheek, which led to permanent nerve damage on one side of her face after doctors had to surgically clean out the infection.

In January, Lilly began experiencing severe daily vomiting that eventually caused a Mallory-Weiss tear, resulting in her vomiting blood. This continued until early May, when she was finally seen at the Mayo Clinic. After months of ER visits, hospitalizations, testing, and specialist appointments, doctors diagnosed her with a brain-gut disorder. Thankfully, a new medication regimen appears to be helping manage those symptoms.

Then, at the beginning of April, Lilly began experiencing seizures and episodes of unresponsiveness. After undergoing numerous additional tests, she was diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND).

Lilly will continue to require ongoing physical and occupational therapy, frequent medical appointments, and possible emergency visits as new symptoms arise. The travel expenses and mounting medical bills have placed a significant financial burden on her family, and we would love to help ease some of that stress in any way possible.

So we finally got a diagnosis as to what is actually going on with Lillys eyes and it is not related to the migraines she has. It called adies pupil and has to do with the small nerves behind your eye not working. There is link between it and the autonomic autoimmune syndrome that the neuro doctor in Omaha is testing for. So fingers crossed we are getting somewhere. Adies pupil is not dangerous and there is eye drops that she can get if it stay dilated for a long time and vision problems become an issue. The neuro eye doctor she saw says she has only ever seen if in 1 other patient and the pupil or pupils would stay dilated for months some times.
