My husband had worked hard all his life; always went to work even when his feet hurt so bad he couldn’t walk. Due to his ongoing health issues he lost his job officially on Feb 22. We had some savings; but we are a family that has always lived week to week. When he lost his job we also lost his income, our medical insurance and his other benefits. 
We just heard that his liver is failing; his back has multiple compressed vertabrae,  disks and other issues. He’s being referred to a spine specialist. He also has a condition called trench foot which is also known as Non Weather related frostbite. This cause his feet to blister; bust opening causing serious wounds on his feet and has resulted in multiple hospital stays. 
We were able to get insurance at my work; but the cost is 70% more then what he was paying with the benefits no where near his.
