My mom was a pediatric night nurse who is also a foster mom. She was diagnosed with breast cancer. She is had surgery 7/25/25 and had complications. After she was back at work for less than 2 weeks she developed a DVT from the chemotherapy pills. While in the ED they discovered lesions in her abdomen. They did a biopsy and on 11/7/25 she was diagnosed with pancreaticobiliary adenocarcinoma and liver metastases. Her GI Oncologist was only able to treat the liver mets to give her more time. 

She has fostered over 110 kids since she started. Out of the 110 kids she has adopted 8 of us. I am the only one able to work. The other 7 are special needs. 

My mom passed away peacefully 04July2026.
