Mr. Keith Gaiger, my favorite tour bus driver has spent endless hours upon the highways and by-ways of this wonderful country with the lives of those musicians that have filled our souls with joy beyond! He made it his priority to keep them safe and sound from venue to venue. Bands like Mariah Carey, Young Gravy, and last but certainly not least, Mongolian Metal band the Hu. When the Hu took recognition of Keith's priority to safety they held an indoctrination celebration into there close knit family by shooting a shot of horse milk, a long time tradition through out Mongolia! It was soon after when Keith found himself in the hospital with an aggressive infection attacking his right leg. It has been nearly 5 years since losing his right leg. The doctors made the decision to amputate with out Keith's coherent approval instead of trying to first fight the infection and save his leg. I have personally watched him fight day in and day out to learn to re constitute his life and make a living for his family the only way he knows how, by protecting the amazing artists we all love on the road showing up safely to that next city to perform for millions of wonderful fans! I'm a musician my self and I love nothing more than taking to the road city after City with a feeling of safety because I fully trust my tour bus driver. I have put this fund raiser together for my best friend, Keith Gaiger to help purchase the best wheel chair money can buy so Keith can get out there again and simply go fishing or go to the beach or outdoor concert. This chair will cost close to 20000 dollars. A drop in the bucket for a man who has more than earned his fair share of a wheel chair to transport the transporter.
