À propos de cette collecte de fonds

November 13th, Wendy received news no one ever wants to hear, “You have Breast Cancer.”  Good news was that it was caught very early and treatment could start very soon.  Beginning December 17th to April 30th Wendy endured 2 separate kinds of Chemotherapy.  Handling it like a champ, working her job and enduring it with smiles she was doing well when she had an accident that further complicated things.  A Lis Franc injury to her foot.  This required surgery one week after her last Chemotherapy had finished.  She was told absolutely no weight bearing, which meant no work.  She had her Breast surgery on June 12th and recovered quite quickly.  July 15th was Wendy's first Radiation appointment.  Radiation Treatments are 5 days a week for 3 weeks.  She has been approved for small amounts of walking and released back to work a few days a week.  The Medical Bills have been manageable until recently.  She is starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel.  We would love to help shine that light little brighter.  Let's help her come out of this with Hope, Peace and Strength.
