If you know Matt and Dawn, you know their ministry is to be the hands and feet of Jesus for kids from hard places.  They have worked tirelessly to give 9 children, many of which have special needs, their very best.  Willow is one of their children who will need lifelong care due to her disabilities.  2026 has been hard for Willow.  She fell right before the New Year and fractured her foot.  This gave her limited mobility due to the boot being too heavy for her weakened muscles to handle.  Because she was also off balance, she was confined to her wheelchair which caused further deterioration.  In February when the boot came off and she could finally get up and walk a bit, she fell again.  This time the break was far worse.  She sustained a spiral fracture to her left femur.  She went straight into surgery the next day where large nail was inserted near her knee and now runs the entire length of her femur where it is pinned in place.  Recovery has been hard and she has lost so much of the ability she once had to move around independently.  She now requires a wheelchair full time and assistance with transfers.  Unfortunately, there isn't a good space at home to accommodate Willow's mobility needs.  Her bathroom needs to be widened so her wheelchair and lift can fit for showers.  She is currently sleeping in the dining room. where anyone who walks by can see into her room.  She needs a door and a wall so she can have privacy and sleep even when other people are moving around in the house.   Not everyone is called to foster or adopt children but anyone can help two people who are doing this work daily.  Please consider donating, any amount, large or small, to help them accomplish their goal of having a handicap accessible space for Willow.  $5,000 has already been raised.  They just need $10,000 more to be able to improve her quality of life.
