Chasity Denton is 46 years old and is a mother of a 26 year old son and a wife of 27 years. In the last 5 years she has started showing signs of huntingtons disease to now she can barely walk and talk even. 3 years ago she was working and driving and now she can’t walk without assistance can’t cook or clean, she can’t bathe herself and has been incontinent now at night. She can’t even write her own name anymore, she can’t comprehend a simple sentence or even remember an event that just happened the same day. It’s extremely hard on her family and now their in danger of losing there beloved home that they worked very hard to acquire. Her husband Richard was a Veterinary Technician for 25 years and had to leave his career to stay at home and care for his wife. There has been a caregiver disaster with her as one caregiver never lasts longer then a month so it is an ongoing struggle. Chastity herself was a caregiver for over 25 years caring for her mother who passed away from huntingtons disease and then her father who struggles with his own health. So this is devastating that she can’t even find someone now to care for her besides her wonderful husband who does everything for her. They are living on Chasity’s disability only which is barely enough to pay the bills without including the mortgage payment or medical bills even. This family has spent their entire lives helping others, caring for and taking care of whoever needed it, between family and friends they always had someone under their wing. Now it’s time to help this family out and give back some of these things that they need desperate help with. They deserve a break and I think now you as caring people can give them some stability and let them keep their home. Thank you very much and let’s raise some money for this family!!
